In addition, its natural dye extraction and application technologies have given the country’s SME’s engaged in gifts, decors and housewares manufacturing an opportunity to carve a niche in the global market.

The vigorous dissemination and promotion of the Institute’s quality testing services for office uniforms have enabled the public to have a greater understanding and appreciation of PTRI’s role in the development of standards not only for the PTF but also for other fabrics.

The training courses that have been conducted on PTRI technologies have made inroads in creating livelihood opportunities, thus, uplifting people’s lives especially those in the countryside.
