Tagumpay Multi-Purpose Cooperative Reborn

Bang’s desire to revive Tagumpay Multi-Purpose Cooperative became a reality. They used to be “idle weavers” but are now part of the Binuatan Creations workforce. The cooperative now operates with 25 units, 18 of which are distributed in 18 residences.  With this setup, weavers earn a living side by side with their household chores.  There are around 30 active weavers who take turns in the production.  Mrs. Florencia Tumalac, who serves as the assistant of Bang and manager of Tagumpay, delivers the raw materials and finished products to and from Sta. Monica and Inagawan.  Weekly payroll amounts to P10,000. Production is dictated by orders coming from Binuatan, hence, during the low seasons where orders can be finished by Bang’s workforce, incomes decline.
