STA. CRUZ MULTI-PURPOSE COOPERATIVE, INC. (SCMPCI)

The Sta. Cruz Multi-Purpose Cooperative (SCMPI) in Sta. Cruz, Malilipot, Albay came into existence in 1988. It initially engaged in farming activities such as cattle raising and agricultural crops. The cooperative shifted to handicraft in 1998. At the helm of its operations is Mr. Apolonio Gonzales, formerly employed in a life insurance company in Tabaco, Albay. He resigned from his job to become the full-time president. His commitment and hard work earned the respect of his townfolk, who considered him as the pillar of the cooperative.
