Five members of the Makati
Livelihood Integrated Multi-Purpose Cooperative (MALIMPCO) were recipients of a 5-day training on handloom weaving held
at Philippine Textile Research Institute's (PTRI) pilot
plant in Bicutan, Taguig City from October 17 to 21, 2005. The
training conducted by Ms. Fe Lamery, Senior Science Research
Specialist aims to assist these members in manufacturing
their own fabrics for the making of table linens, curtains,
bed sheets, pillow cases etc. and to give added value to
these products.
