Department of Science and Technology Secretary Estrella F. Alabastro led the ribbon cutting ceremony in the launching of the hilippine Textile Research Institute (PTRI) Natural Dyes Center, a technology business incubation facility based in Bicutan, Taguig City. SOUMAK COLLECTION, an enterprise engaged in the crafting of fabrics using all natural materials, will manage the facility.

Together with Secretary Alabastro are from left, PTRI director, Dr. Carlos C. Tomboc and Undersecretary for R&D, Dr. Graciano P. Yumul, Jr. Other officials of the PTRI also witnessed the ceremony.
