separately packaged technologies pertain to the removal
of non-cellulosic materials primarily gums from
decorticated pineapple, abaca or banana fibers through
chemical and mechanical treatments. These technologies

output is degummed and softened fiber (pineapple, abaca
and banana) that satisfies the industry requirements for
yarn and fabric manufacture.
