This page lists
the testing services available at
PTRI, the only government textile
testing laboratory accredited by the
Bureau of Product Standards,
Department of Trade and Industry.

This Testing Fees
for Textiles, Garments and Allied
Products is based on Section 54,
Chapter 12, Book IV of Executive
Order No. 292 (Administrative Code
of 1987); Executive Order No. 197
signed January 13, 2000; and DOST
Administrative Order No. 010
Seriesof 2000.

The Physical and
Chemical Testing Laboratories of
PTRI are BPSLAS accredited under PNS
ISO/IEC 17025:2000 with
Accreditation Nos. LA-2005-0068A and
LA-2005-0067A, respectively.

PTRI laboratories
are equipped with instruments for
the determination of the quality
levels of fibers, slivers, rovings,
yarns, fabrics, garments, carpets
and allied products including
chemicals, dyes and auxiliaries used
for textile production.

Tests are
performed in accordance with PNS/PTRI
ISO, AATCC, ASTM, IWS, JIS
Standards. Test methods
supplied/specified by clients are
also considered.

Testing fees are
to be paid in full upon submission
of test request. Students are given
20% discount of the published rates.

Additional
original copies of reports may be
issued only upon written request
from the client. Minimum charge is
P50.00 per page.

Samples not
destroyed during testing are
retained for a period of up to six
(6) months only.
