41 Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship specializing in Apparel and Fashion students and 3 faculty members from Benguet State University (BSU) - La Trinidad Campus took part in an educational tour at the Department of Science and Technology - Philippine Textile Research Institute (DOST-PTRI). The students were interested in learning more about the textile industry and exploring opportunities for internships and research partnerships with the DOST-PTRI's Textile Academy.

111 PSHS-Ilocos Students Dive into the World of Textiles at DOST-PTRI
111 Grade 10 students from the Philippine Science High School (Pisay) – Ilocos Region Campus, along with 10 faculty members, toured the Department of Science and Technology - Philippine Textile Research Institute (DOST-PTRI) on April 10, 2024. The educational tour aimed to introduce the students to real-world applications of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) to help guide their choice of specialization for senior high school.

DOST-PTRI, CatSU, and PSTO-Catanduanes Join Hands to Launch NTFIH in Catanduanes
The Department of Science and Technology - Philippine Textile Research Institute (DOST-PTRI) initiate a collaboration with the executive officials of Catanduanes State University (CatSU), and Provincial Science and Technology Office (PSTO) - Catanduanes to discuss the progress and future plans for the FRONTIER: Natural Textile Fiber Innovation Hub (NTFIH) project last April 3-4, 2025.
